LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 3, 2013) - Local insurance agents learned about black water remediation practices and guidelines during continuing education (CE) training by Rainbow International of Louisville, owned by Ben Tyler, March 21. CE class credits are required every two years for agents to keep their licenses.
The class of 28 was taught by Ron Clawson, Rainbow International System Sales Manager. Rainbow International provided a happy hour social following the class.
“Our presentation is designed to teach attendees about category 3 water losses, and the importance of immediate action for the health of a home’s occupants,” Clawson said.
Black water is a Category 3 Water Loss, which is the worst category of water loss. It means the water is unsanitary and includes harmful bacteria and fungi that could be dangerous to people.
