Brenda Howard was previously part owner of an International Recycling Company which promotes products and programs. Brenda has been involved in 5 different network marketing companies where she enjoyed interacting with customers and prospects. For decades she has worked as a Corporate Secretary for large corporations accomplishing various tasks.
Brenda and her husband, Jim, opened their Rainbow International Franchise in 2015.
“I love being my own boss so I can work at a pace that suits me. Owning a franchise is the best decision I have made in business. I don’t have to reinvent the wheel and figure it out on my own. The best part is being part of a larger group of companies, “Neighbourly”, where we have endless support and can draw on the strengths of other Rainbow franchisees.”
Brenda has been involved in her Church, Victory Christian Centre in many capacities in fundraisers, Canada Day, Kids Groups and she is also the wife of an Elder.
She loves being part of the local community and attends as many community trade shows as possible: Home Shows, Regattas, Canada Day. She especially likes to set up wind tunnels during high heat days.
She enjoys getting involved in community cleanup projects where she takes Rainbow International Restoration equipment and vehicles to help.
Jim & Brenda Howard have been married 8 years with 3 grown children - Shannon, Jennifer and Erica. She is very adventurous and loves trying new things. Each year Brenda knocks off letters on her alphabet travel bucket list. In the last few years Brenda climbed Mt. Everest BC and Mt. Kilimanjaro. Brenda’s upcoming climb is Machu Picchu and kayaking the Amazon River.

Jim Howard started working for his family business in the antique restoration industry as a teenager. In the 80’s, he opened his first business, Show Service and Rental Company servicing special events and exhibitions. In the early 90’s he switched to investment banking with a large investment firm and became a certified financial planner in mortgages, providing clients with diversified investment strategies and managed over $20 million in client portfolios. In 2010, he followed his love for carpentry and joined a competitor restoration company in his local community for 6 years as a carpenter and gained experience with, fire, water, and mould mitigation and saw all his jobs all the way through to completion. Later, opened Rainbow International Restoration with wife, Brenda in 2015.
“Owning a Neighbourly Company to me means helping my local community with their misfortunes and bringing them back to where they were before the disaster occurred. Being there for my local community emotionally and physically to help them feel at ease after a disaster strikes.”
Jim is an Elder at his church and have been involved in many capacities in fundraiser events throughout the years.
He has participated in local park clean ups and charitable events to support the community.

Shannon graduated with a diploma in Business Administration: Automotive Marketing. Shannon has several years’ experience in the automotive industry working in dealerships and at automotive manufacturer corporate offices. Shannon worked in the insurance industry for 8 years at State Farm Canada and Desjardins Head Offices in multiple roles including, Accident Benefit claims for 4 years and in Marketing for 4 years as an E-Business Marketing Analyst which included roles in Social Media, budgeting, SEM/SEO, and project work.
Shannon started with Rainbow International in March of 2019.

She has been involved in many charitable organizations throughout the years including; United Way of York region, Yellow Brick House and local food banks.
Shannon has been married to her husband Sean for 2 years now. They spent their honeymoon traveling the world for 1 year in 2018. They traveled to 21 countries and were able to immerse themselves in different cultures and communities around the world. They finished their trip with a new perspective on life and really understand how lucky they are and have learned not to take anything for granted because 95% of the world is in a much worse situation than they are, so be grateful for what you have.
